What time can I check in or check out?

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
If you’re staying in a room and would like to sleep a little longer, simply ask our hosts about a later check-out. Subject to availability, departure can be extended until 2:00 PM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a small additional fee.

Can I store my luggage before or after my stay?

Yes. We offer luggage storage for both early arrivals and late departures.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to stay overnight in our rooms.
That said, you may meet Drifty, our resident feline: please be kind to her if you see her wandering around.

Where can I smoke?

Drift is a non-smoking hotel. You’re welcome to smoke or vape outside in designated outdoor areas.

Do the hosts ever sleep?

They do, but they take turns.
Drift is staffed daily from approximately 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so you’ll usually find a host in the lobby. Outside these hours, you can reach us 24/7 via WhatsApp or telephone.
Our on-site team is here to help you settle in, answer questions, and connect you with local experiences. And yes, they double as breakfast chefs too. If you’re craving breakfast, they’ll happily prepare something for you.

Is Drift suitable for long-term stays?

Absolutely. Drift is ideal for longer stays, remote workers, and digital nomads. Our fully equipped shared kitchens, communal living rooms, terraces, pool, and garden support both comfort and productivity.

Can I change my booking?

Yes, as long as you haven’t booked a non-refundable rate. Changes can be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

Do you require a deposit or pre-authorization?

We don’t require a deposit. However, a valid credit card will be verified prior to arrival.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), debit cards, and cash in USD or XCG.

Can I prebook breakfast?

Yes. You can prebook breakfast online or arrange it with our hosts upon arrival. If you haven’t prebooked, simply ask our breakfast chef.

Do I need ID to check in?

Yes. A valid passport or government-issued ID, along with a credit card, is required at check-in.

How big are the rooms?

We offer Cozy Rooms, Medium Rooms, Large Rooms, X-Large Rooms, X-Large Rooms with Balcony, and our XXL Loft Apartment. All rooms include air-conditioning, a television, comfortable beds, work-friendly desks, curated décor, and a full range of amenities.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes. All rooms are equipped with a safe that fits a 13-inch laptop.

My hair is a mess. Where’s the hairdryer?

There’s a hairdryer in every room—inside your wardrobe. You’re welcome.

How often is my room cleaned?

Daily light housekeeping is included during your stay. A full cleaning with fresh linens is provided every six days. Fresh towels are always available upon request.

Do you offer laundry facilities?

Yes. Self-service laundry facilities, including an iron and supplies, are available on site

Are parties or unregistered guests allowed?

No. To maintain a calm and comfortable atmosphere, parties and unregistered visitors are not permitted.

Is the hotel accessible?

Our building is historic and includes stairs. There is no elevator. If you have mobility needs, please contact us in advance so we can recommend the most suitable room

Is parking available?

Yes. Free street parking is available for guests.

Do you have a pool?

Yes. Drift features a tropical plunge pool surrounded by greenery and lounge seating.

How do I get to Drift from the airport?

We’re about a 15-minute drive from Curaçao International Airport. Taxis are readily available at the airport. Our Google Maps address is Frederikstraat 108–112.

Where is Drift located?

Drift is located in Ser’i Otrobanda, Willemstad, just steps from the iconic Queen Emma Bridge. Rif Fort, Kura Hulanda Museum, Punda, Pietermaai, and the floating market are all nearby. Curaçao’s stunning beaches are only a short drive away.

What’s nearby?

Within walking distance, you’ll find colorful colonial architecture, hidden art galleries, cafés, boutiques, museums, concept stores, co-working spaces, and some of the city’s best local restaurants.

Is the area safe?

Certainly. Ser’i Otrobanda is a lively and cultural district. As with any city, we recommend normal awareness, but most guests enjoy exploring the area both day and night.
